John Schulz

Managing Director

John Schulz has worked in, owned and operated construction companies since graduating from Hobart’s St Virgil’s college in 1993. During this time he has had the opportunity to work on the tools through supervision roles and management all over Australia and internationally, and now as the leader of Fremantle Constructions. Johns main focus within Fremantle Constructions is to ensure Fremantle’s Culture is understood and lived out. These core values are Health and Safety, Integrity, Respect, Teamwork, Quality and Communication.

As the Managing Director of a construction company John works hard to ensure Fremantle Constructions remains an agile, lean and a scalable business that ensures we are able to meet the challenges of any project, of any size, with both quality and speed while not compromising on safety or quality. John believes the people are the core of the business and he is not your typical office based Managing Director; he likes to be heavily involved and he takes time to get to know his team and spends a lot of time at all the sites. His impeccable attention to detail has ensured that every single one of our clients has reengaged us once they’ve worked with us.

Dylan Ogilvie

Operations Manager

Dylan has over ten years’ experience in the construction industry and is employed as the Operations Manager for Fremantle Constructions Pty Ltd. Fremantle Constructions is a scalable business, an industry leader with a strong reputation for quality and reliability. He is responsible for the planning, organisation and management of resources in order to meet project requirements. Dylan is also responsible for the management of Human Resources, Business Development Management and the maintaining of customer relationships.

Since joining Fremantle Constructions, Dylan has worked in a variety of roles from Leading Hand Carpenter to Supervisory roles, which has led to his current management role of Operations Manager. He is heavily involved in the daily running of Fremantle Constructions and his previous hands on experience has proved advantageous. Dylan provides support to senior staff and is regularly on-site maintaining Fremantle Constructions’ personal edge with our employees.

Martin Headd

Construction Manager

Martin has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry in an Engineering, Project Management and Consultancy capacity. He is responsible for the overall execution of projects, ensuring quality, budget and programme expectations of our clients are met. Martin has extensive experience in Oil & Gas, Resources and Public Infrastructure projects in Australia, as well as Civil and Commercial construction in the UK and Ireland. Martin is a qualified Civil Engineer as well as a professional Surveyor.

Tony Tanna

Engineering Manager

Tony provides leadership and experience to the Fremantle Constructions’ team – from bid identification and submission, conversion to award, through to all stages of the project execution. Tony provides proven project management experience accumulated over a vast range of infrastructure sector projects in a number of locations. As Engineering Manager he is responsible for technical compliance with the contract specification and providing key decisions in undertaking the works on all projects.

Brendan Kearney

Corporate Development and Systems Manager

Brendan manages our ISO accredited Integrated Management System, and heads our HSE division, taking responsibility for compliance within the business and providing offsite support to our projects. Brendan assists our business development functions involving identifying new business, tendering processes and new and existing client relationship management. Brendan has 15 years of construction industry experience in both project and company management in Australia. He has worked FIFO on large resource projects in WA as well as Perth and Sydney based roles in a project management capacity.
